Mersin, located  in the Mediterranean region by the Mediterranean sea coast. Karaman and Konya in the north, Nigde in the north east, Adana in the east and Antalya in the west are the neighbour cities of Mersin.

The Surface area of the Mersin is 15.853 square kilometers and population of the city is approximately  1.735.000 people.

The districts of  Mersin city are; Anamur, Bozyazi, Aydincik, Gulnar, Mut, Silifke, Erdemli, Mezitli, toroslar, Akdeniz, Yenisehir, Camliyayla, Toros.
