Tasucu Amphora Museum

The museum has the distinction of being the first and only museum where only amphoras are displayed.

Commercial amphoras from Tasucu, Mersin and Antalya  which was found on the nets of  fishermen while they are fishing are exhibited in this museum.  The largest group of works in the collection, is the local productions.

Amphoras in the museum prove that the civilizations lived in the area were very effective in commercial relations with important civilizations of antique World.
