Martyrs Monument

A big monument whichwas built in 1972 in the Mersin Ataturk Park, for the memory of 199 Turkish Marine soldiers who died in a war ship ( named Refah ) which was sunked with a torpedoo n the way to Port-Sait in 1941.

The country which caused to catastrophe is still now known. English army accused Germans and Germans accused English.
