The Ancient Perre City

One of the biggest antique city of Commagene kingdom was located between capital Samosata and Melitene. It was a beaten track, especially visited by passengers, soldiers and merchants for resting.

The most remarkable ancient ruins of Perre are rock tombs. Tombs carved into rocks create a wonderfull, picturesque view on the cliffs.
