Meydan Madrasah

Situated in Hakkari city Center . It was repaired and restored in 1984 by General Directorate of Foundations in Turkey.  It is understood  from the inscription written on  the entrance gate that the madrasah was built in 1700 -1701 by Ibrahim Bey  who was the director of Hakkari government in time.

The madrasa has outer dimensions 23.40mx18.25m and almost is a square in the shape of  rectangle. It has a wide Courtyard, two floors and two wings . Entrance are made from the southern gate.
