Beyazit Mosque

A famous mosque got built by the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II in the district which has taken the same name as the mosque. It was built in 1505 and some parts of  the mosque were built with the Stones belonging to Byzantine period. Stone and wood crafting together with stained-glasses inside of the mosque are remarkable.

Mosque is in a walking distance to Grand Bazaar is off the beaten path not mostly visited by tourists.
