Amasra Castle

 Castle located just next to Cekiciler Bazaar . Panoramic  view of Amasra from the top of the castle can be watched while you are sipping your tea.

It is later understood the structure today which is called as Amasra castle wash a church in time . Church was deserted during the Ottoman empire and the mosaics left for centuries were plundered by treasure hunters.

It is formed by 2 big structures which are called Sormagir and Zindan castles.

Rock-cut steps which are going up to the hill from the south-west of the island also  reaching here.
