Where is Kocaeli ?

Kocaeli (Izmit), located  just next to Istanbul in the Asian side of Marmara region. Kocaeli is the 6th largest city of Turkey with its population. Sakarya in the east,Bursa in the south, Yalova in the west, Marmara sea and Istanbul in the north are the neighbours of Kocaeli

The Surface area of the Kocaeli is 3.505 square kilometers and population of the city is approximately  1.700.000 people.

The districts of  Kocaeli city are; Karamursel, golcuk, Gebze, Korfez, Derince,Kandira, Izmit.
