Konya, located  in the central Anatolia region, is the largest city in view of lands covered and 8th biggest city with its population. The neighbour cities of Konya are; Nigde in the east, Antalya and Mersin in the south, Eskisehir in the northwest, Ankara in the north and Afyon in the west.

The Surface area of the Konya is 38.257 square kilometers and population of the city is approximately  2.050.000 people.
