Hidiv Kasri
A glamorous structure situated in the Cubuklu and got built by the Hidiv Abbas Hilmi Pasha who is the last Ottoman governor of Egypt. The architecture of this wonderfull Pavillion belongs to Italian Delfo Semati.
The chateau like design and look of the pavilion, annoyed and disturbed the Sultan Abdulmecit in time, therefore Abbas Hilmi Pasha made a secret passage in his room in case of any emergency.
Hidiv Kasri was deserted untill 1980’s then it was restored and used as a hotel for a short period. The building today used as a restaurant, cafe and recreational area.
