 Igdir "genocide" memorial

Iğdır and villages are  one of the most intense areas exposed to the  Armenian massacres in the years 1915-1920 . At that time, a large part of the people of Igdir (eighty thousand) were massacred and the ones who survived were forced to leave their homeland. Therefore the "genocide" memorial in Igdir is a result of a natural demand of Turkish people . Igdir "genocide" monument is the highest monument in Turkey with 43.50 m height.
