How to go Cappadocia ?

Cappadocia, which covers a portion of Kirsehir, Nevsehir, Kayseri and Aksaray  cities, can be reached by a car, intercity bus, tour bus or you can choose to fly to Nevsehir.

There is a small air field in the region (Tuzkoy) and scheduled flights of Turkish airlines takes place in here. But it is recommended to buy your ticket in a few weeks in advance while it is very difficult to find free seats especially in summers. The closest city to popular spots ( Urgup,Avanos, Kaymakli, Derinkuyu etc.) in Cappadocia is Nevsehir therefore it is recommended  first to go Nevsehir and catch a regular minibus or bus going to these spots. Minibuses operate untill late evenings however there is no public transportations available after that so it is better to learn latest time of the minibuses. If you are alone and not dependent to a tour, you can rent a car or motorbike to travel in the area.

Kayseri is 106 km, Ankara 276 and Istanbul is 729 km away from Nevsehir.

Turkey trip Cappadocia
Cappadocia best place to be in Turkey especially in winter the white cover of the snow over the splendid fairy chimneys is absolutely amazing. We got to cappadicia with several other backpackers with a train from Antalya it is around 6 hours.

Kayseri airport whic is 1 hour away from Cappadocia region receives regular flights from istanbul via Turkish Airlines and Pegasus airlines.
