Bergama Museum
The Museum is located in the center of the Bergama built with the cooperation of German architects in 1933 in order to exhibit the artifacts and statues found inthe excavations of Pergamon and Asclepion.
The museum is composed of exhibition sections that surround a courtyard anda rectangular hall located behind the courtyard. Museum was expanded in the next years with additional buildings where etnographic artifacts are exhibited.
The most interesting and also sad artifact exhibited in the museum is the model of Zeus altar which the original one can be seen in the Berlin Pergamon museum.
