Ramadan Feast in Turkey
 
  Ramadan feast that is called as Ramazan Bayrami or Seker Bayrami ( Candy feast) in Turkish also known as Eid al-Fitr in Arabic language. Ramadan feast symbolizes the breaking of fasting.
 
The Ramazan Bayrami starts after completing the last fasting in the evening and continues 3 more days. The last day of fasting is called arefe or arife and it is the eve of Ramadan feast and Governmental offices, businesses and schools are closed after the lunch time so before several hours of ramadan feast starts official Holiday starts in
Turkey
 
In the first morning of Ramadan feast all the families wake up quiet early ,get dressed with the cleanest,newest clothes and men of the families go for Bayram namazi ( prayer of the Ramadan feast).
 
After the Bayram namazi, younger people visit their older relatives in their homes and in all visits candies, boreks( traditional pastries), Baklavas are served to the visitors therefore it is also called as a feast of candies and foods. Younger ones kiss the hands of olders as a sign of respect.
 
Traffic during the eve of Ramadan feast (arefe) and in the last day of Ramadan feast intensifies as the people drive to forth and back their hometowns and resorts they booked. Holiday destinations , mosques and tourist attractions of Turkey are flocked by local visitors.
