Kaleici Antalya

Today only a few bastions from the city walls  , hadrian gate , towers and a few remnants from harbour can be seen. One of the city walls surrounds yacht marina and the other one surrounds  the city as a horse shoe.  The tower left on the castle gate yard used as a watch tower today. 4 gates are available  embed in the city walls.

Kaleici is the oldest historical part of the Antalya city became the tourism center with  restored and contemporary designed pensions , bars, shops and streets.

The port of the antique city was arranged as a port for the yachts. Walking in these narrow streets with  surrounding lovely structures.

Hadrianus gate

Hadrianus gate or in other saying three gates are the most glorious gate of Pamphylia city left intact  untill today in Antalya.

The gate was built for the memory and honour of roman emperor Hadrianus . Except the pillars gate was full built by white marble.   Reliefs and engravements over the gate is delicately processed.

Old Antalya Houses

During the buildings of Antalya houses due to the hot and warm weather conditions  protection from the sun and having cooling effects was mostly considered .

Shaded stone grounds and court yards are built for a better air flow. Antalya old houses are created of 3  floors with an entrace part used as a depot and hall.
