Urartians dominated a wide range of land covering the Eastern anatolia , northwest Iran , small part of Iraq  and south part of armenia

Urartians named their country as Biainili and capital city of the urartians was tushpa and van

They created a very strong and powerfull kingdom in 9th century B.C and lived untill 6th century B.C destroyed by the Meds.

Urartians were always in conflict and fight with neighboorhood sites and kindgdoms. Especially Assurians were the ones who had made long wars against urartians.

Urartians had never  reached the black sea and  meditteranean sea during their domination of eastern anatolia.

Urartians were very good in building castles . they were producing  weapons and war tools from iron ,  The first time in eastern anatolia set up the irrigation channels  and aquaducts. Shamram channel which even today helps the irrigation of Van valley was made by Shamran king Minua

Ivory carving and engraving of the seals were very improved .

Urartians believed many god and goddeses and Sacrificed animals for these gods.

The most important gods of urartians were Haldi , Teishiba  and shivini

Haldi was the main god , Teishiba was the god of storm most likelily  was the same god called teshup in hittites . Shivrini was the god of sun , Shimegi in Hittites

Many temples , cults were built for worshipping in anzaf , Cavustepe , Ayanis  and toprakkale  by urartians
