Adana  located around the Seyhan river which is in the south part of the  Taurus mountains . Adana approximately has 160 km shore to meditteranean sea and it is settled on the very important transportation ways connecting the Europe to Asia

How to get

There are regular scheduled intercity buses to Ankara, Antalya, İstanbul , İzmir and the other cities close to Adana. You can get the buses from the main bus depot which is 5 km far from the downtown. Here are some important bus companies to take you where ever you want.

 ·         Archeology and etnographia museum and house of Ataturk (founder of Turkish Republic) must be visited.

·         Ulu ( Grand) Mosque , Sabanci Central Mosque , Baby church , stonebridge , tepebag old houses of Adana and historical sites ; Anavarza , Shar Mysis must be seen.

·         Old bazaars must be travelled and traditional Karatepe rugs must be purchased

·         Adana district has a rich cusine , Fundamental ingredients used for are graupel , vegetables , spices , milk , yoghurt, Çökelek ( cheese made of skim milk ) .  The most well known , traditional  and peculiar dish to Adana is “ Adana Kebap”   . besides ,raw meat ball , Turnip juice , kibbeh are the another traditional dishes belong to district.
