Arak Monastery (Church)

It is established  on the summit of a plateau which is located on the eastern part of Mount Karacavus.

The Arak village which has given the name to the church is settled on the foot of Hills.

Arak means wine in Persian and it is known that the village was a place where grapes protected in the warehouses and extracted to produce drinks.

 The monastery is built on a wide  plain  on the mountain . Roman style workmanship and art is the first thing  stands out in the structure.  There is a  huge bell tower located  200-250 meters away is also an interesting structure to see.
