Aslantepe mound

It’s located within a green and lovely district ; Orduzu in Malatya.

The Aslantepe mound consist of  many settlement  layers which stacked over each other in thousands of years.

The hill is actively used as a central city in the region from 5000 B.C until the Assyrians invasions in  712 .  The area was deserted untill 5th century A.D By Romans and later it was used as a necropol
