Phrygian Valley

 

The  rocky area between the pine trees  located  on the 26th km of Kutahya- Eskisehir road , along eastern part of  the province  is called "Phrygian Valley" .

 

Phrygian valleys which is covered with the tufas of the Old Volcanic nountain Turkmen  has been used  by various tribes since ancient times.

 

Phrygians who are  one of the most ancient peoples of the region use the easy carved Volcanic rock for various purposes. Open-air temples dedicated to   Kybele” Mother Goddes Of Phrygians , Defense structures are the most prominent things to see in the area.
