Turkey > How to meet and greet in Turkish ?

Here is the basic phrases you will need when you meet with someone who speaks Turkish.

 

Difference between formal and informal in Turkish Language ;

 

Siz –you  ( formal or plural ) , Sen- you ( informal and single )

 

If you use suffixes such as ,  -iz, , -uz, -az , -ız , -üz , -oz , -öz the word automatically will be formal or plural .

 

If you use; -im , -um , -am , -ım , -um , -öm , -om ,-üm  suffixes you will be using the single form and express the Subjet pronoun “ I”

 Nasılsınız ?                                          İyiyim siz nasılsınız ?
