The official postal services in Turkey are conducted by Ptt ( Posta ve Telegraf Teskilati) which is the short form of Post and Telegraph organization.
Ptt offices can be found in a very central points of any city or district in Turkey. A blue PTT logo over a yellow board will help you to easily recognize post offices in theplaces visited.
Ptt generally is very effective in domestic services such as posting letters, postcards Money transaction, Cargo delivery, telegraph however international PTT services can take a really long time and be annoying as the delivery services are not that effective like in the domestic operation. It’s recommended to use especiallly for the international Cargo deliveries from Turkey the global companies ( Ups,Fedex, etc.)
Ptt offices opening and closing times are up to their location. If they are in a busy and touristic places working hours can be longer than other offices in other districts.
