Where is Bayburt?

Bayburt province, located  in the Black Sea Region, is loosing its population every year due to harsh and cold weather conditions and soils not suitable for agriculture. Bayburt is the 69th city of Turkey was a district of Gumushane province untill 1989. Bayburt  Surrounded with Trabzon city in the north, Rize in the north east, Erzurum in the east, Erzincan in the south, Gumushane in the west.

The Surface area of the Bayburt is 3652 square kilometers and population of the city is approximately 76.724 .

The districts of Bayburt city are ; Aydintepe, Demirozu, Bayburt center.
