Kisir
Ingredients (8 Servings) – 25 minutes
1 Cup fine Bulghur
2 medium tomatoes
2 medium cucumbers
1 medium onion
1 clove of garlic
1 tablespoon red pepper paste
1/2 tea cup lemon juice or pomegranate syrup
1 cup of hot water
Parsley, mint,black pepper, red pepper flakes, salt
Directions / How to make Kisir ?
* Soak the bulgur with 1 glass of hot water
* Wait 10 minutes untill the water completely soaked by Bulgur
* While waiting, chop the onion and garlic, very tiny and finely. ( Optional: can becooked in frypan )
* add pepper paste to onions and garlics and stir.
* In a separate bowl, chop the tomatoes,parsley, cucumber and mints up finely.
* Add the chopped onions, garlics and pepper paste mixture.
* Stir all the ingredients untill very well blended.
* Pour pomegranate syrup or lemon juice and stir once more.
* Your kisir is ready !
