The great monument of Ataturk, who is one of the greatest leader in history and founder of Turkish republic, rises on a very central and most popular square of Antalya. The monument was built in 1964 with the donations collected by the people of Antalya.  The monument is 6 m. Height and made of 12 ton bronze material.

As much as glorious monument the view from the place where monument stands is fabulous.  It is one of the best spot to take nicest pictures of Antalya.
