Yumuktepe

Yumuktepe is one of the oldest settlement in Anatolia. The first settlement inYumuktepe began in Neolithic period and uninterruptedly continued in following chalcolithic, Bronze, Hittite, Byzantine and Islamic periods.

Hundreds of matchless artifacts and historic masterpieces found in the excavations of Yumuktepe are exhibited in the Mersin Museum.
