Karatas Magarsus

Located in the Karatas which is the seaside district of Adana. Magarsus was the religiousc enter of Mallos, which was one of the most important city of Cilicia antique civilization, were famous for its ancient temples.

Especially with the temple of Athena where  Alexander the great prayed, city gained and importance in the ancient history.

Today nothing much left from this great city however there are still some small part of theater, stadium and defending Wall ruins can be seen in the area.
