Cadianda
Cadianda ancient city is known as the last city joined the Lycian union in ancient times. The ruins of Cadianda city is today located in the Uzumlu district 25 km away from Fethiye and 915 m high from sea level. The history of Cadianda dates back to 4th century B.C. it wasn’t an important city as others at all neither in Hellenistic nor in the Roman period though the ruins of great theater, agora, cisterns, temple, mousoleum, stadium and Lycian Tombs in the city show us that city was very much developed in all aspects by its own people.
Cadianda archeological site is a nice off the beaten path which offers hiking, culture and panoramic view of Fethiye Valley, recommended for the culture and nature lovers.
