Sogut
Anatolian Seljuk Ruler Keykubat Alaeddin the first had given the Sogut region as a boarder principilaty to be ruled by Ertugrul Gazi in 1232. Turkmens From the Oghuz Region was brought and settled in this region by Ertugrul gazi therefore the roots of the Ottoman empire were set in Sogut region.
Sogut region stands 665 m above from sea level.It is in a distance of 29 Km from the city center, 22 km from Bozuyuk District and 51 km from Eskisehir Province.

Every each year 10th of September a commemoration ceremony is held for the name of Ertugrul gazi around the Ertugrul Gazi Mosque .
