Elmadag Ski Center located on the northern  slopes of  mount Elmadag in Ankara province.  It is 18 km far from the Ankara city ,

Ski season in Ankara Elmadag is shorter compared the other resorts in Turkey. Season starts in January and ends in march.Thickness of the snow vary from 30-60 cm.

Elmadag Ski Center is located between 1500-1850  m high.  You can not see any trees in ski runs however they are covered with alpine meadows.

There is one lift available with a capacity of hour/720 people. Ski run has  easy and medium difficulty degree which can easily used by amateurs.

Ski  houses belong to METU-Hacettepe and Ankara Universities and Turban hotel which is managed by  Ministry of Tourism two privately owned restaurants are available for the visitors of the Elmadag ski center. Resorts in the offer various facilities(indoor swimming pool, sauna, disco and restaurant ) to the guests.

There is one lift available in the area.

Shuttles running from the city centrum and operated by universities  can be used to get the Elmadag.

Elmadag ski center is not very much improved winter tourism area compared to similar samples however it is a good alternative for the ones who are living around and looking to  spend a nice , fun day  in snow.
