Temple Of Augustus
Located in Ulus district adjacent to Haci Bayram Mosque was built as a mark of loyalty to Roman Emperor Augustus.
On the walls of Temple an inscription in Greek And Lating languages named “ index rerum gestarum” isfound. It is the last document given to Vestal Virgins which explains all the things were done by Emperor Augustus during his life.
Temple was converted to a church during the Byzantium period with additional structures and vindows.
